Why a Cooperative?

Because education is a team effort. For far too long, teachers and trainers have had to work on their own. As a cooperative (eG), we turn that model upside down: the company belongs to all of us. We make decisions democratically, work together in solidarity, and share our success. This allows us to provide greater security and genuine fairness instead of the uncertainty of self-employment.

Why Now?

Because the system needs an update. The shortage of skilled professionals and the challenges of integration are greater than ever, and traditional structures are reaching their limits. We’re not waiting for solutions from the top—we’re taking action ourselves. Now is the time to bring our expertise together and rethink education in Leipzig and the surrounding region, making it more digital, more human, and better prepared for the future.

Torsten Därr – Founder of UNO.TEAM

Torsten brings many years of experience in adult education and interpreting. He works in German, English, and Russian, combining coaching with strategic educational development.

Mira Lux is the organizational heart of UNO.TEAM. She coordinates the team, supports new trainers throughout the onboarding process, and ensures that our vision is reflected in our daily work.

How is the cooperative funded?
We generate revenue by successfully delivering educational projects and coaching services. Our team-based approach allows us to provide reliable support, even during staff absences or periods of high demand.

Profits are not paid to external investors. Instead, they are reinvested, shared within the cooperative, or distributed among our members. To help build the cooperative's equity, members purchase cooperative shares when they join.

There is currently no fixed limit on membership.
