Public education systems almost entirely ignore the lived realities of marginalized groups, such as single refugee women navigating caregiving, language barriers, and complex state bureaucracy. Critical topics like the Economy for the Common Good, public welfare services, circular economics, and non-extractive wealth building are virtually absent from standard subsidized curricula. We are closing this gap, but we reject traditional academic top-down paternalism. Instead of an elite dictating modules from an ivory tower, we apply the SafeSpace principle of active listening, co-creating educational frameworks directly alongside the people who need them most.
