We are witnessing at breakneck speed what anthropologist David Graeber documented years ago: the neoliberal machine no longer needs a vast portion of the workforce. Most remaining permanent roles were "bullshit jobs" that left people burned out—and AI is now wiping them out. While the shrinking middle class on LinkedIn clings to vanishing careers, outside this bubble, single mothers and refugee women in particular are pushed into basic social security and old-age poverty.
