Thought #394: How Much 'Common Good' Is Actually in the Common Good Parliament Leipzig?"

The "Common Good" (Gemeinwohl) means well-being for the entire community—for everyone. In cities like Leipzig, this specifically means supporting those pushed to the margins by rising rents, living in precarity, or relying on state welfare.

Yet what is currently being marketed under the "Common Good" label borders on hypocrisy:

This leaves a deeply troubling impression: Is a commercially struggling corporation attempting to restructure its balance sheet by piggybacking on the moral appeal of "the Common Good" and charging membership fees?

We must stop hiding behind obscured structures and polished marketing. Genuine Common Good cannot be built on commercial corporate shells and €60 entry barriers. It demands absolute transparency, an uncompromising Pay What You Can ethos, and a direct focus on the lived realities of people on the ground. This is the mission of UNO.TEAM.
