When politicians speak of "our prosperity," they mask the realities of a deeply divided class society. Social mobility has stalled, leaving genuine wealth, influence, and security in the hands of a small minority. For a growing majority, this promise remains entirely out of reach. As long as we fail to explicitly name who benefits and who suffers, invoking a vague "us" hides the truth and blocks real transformation.
