Blaming toxic working conditions solely on top-level corporate actors misses a crucial point. Exploitative systems survive because those affected passively contribute to the problem by accepting their own isolation. Neither freelancers nor jobseekers have been socialized to organize collectively. Instead, they act as isolated individuals fighting over crumbs. Real systemic change begins the moment we stop viewing each other as competition and start building genuine collective resilience.
