Mental clarity demands cool rationality.
The moment emotions like anger, frustration, disappointment—or even overzealous excitement—take the wheel, the brain burns through its precious energy on pure feeling. Clear, rational logic gets completely blocked.
If I'm honest with myself, I’ve reacted far too impulsively in conflicts over the last ten or twenty years. I let initial waves of heat carry me away—typing messages or speaking out loud instead of taking a deep breath and powering down the system. Sure, we always found solutions in the end, but look at how much time and energy I wasted! If I had damped down those raw emotions right from the start, I would have reached my goal in a fraction of the time.
That is why Thoughts serves as my personal release valve:
By running my thinking through this process, I can step back, see the bigger picture, and make decisions that are calm, rational, and far-sighted.
